We arrived back in West Clare on Tuesday after spending two very nice days in Germany. We stayed in a small town called Wesel where the people were extremely friendly and which had a very fine park. We went to Movie Park Germany on Monday and enjoyed the attractions there under a very warm sun.
Since we arrived in Kilrush there has been nothing but rain, it is pretty depressing as holiday weather goes. We got wellies for the girls yesterday so that they might at least enjoy splashing about in the puddles. We are thinking about heading up to Mayo in the week but with severe weather warnings we may not end up going anywhere. I must remember this the next time I complain about the Dutch weather.
Acknowledgement of wrongdoing is critical factor…

Gladys is right. The focus on Adams in the child abuse story is utterly
misplaced (if understandable):
The programme also detailed attempts over the year...

Yep, Aidan, this is what we now call summer here: incessant rain. It's maddening.
Welcome home!
I can't get over the weather in Ireland this summer. I was there for a week and it rained non-stop. The homepage on my computer is stil set to msn ireland and the forecast has shown rain everyday since I left. It's difficult to handle when you're used to 'summer weather' elsewhere. Oh well, hope you have fun anyway.
