From my couple of years working in the tourist office I think that tourists really should have to pass a tourism aptitude test before being allowed roam abroad. It only suits the country to keep the eejets at home so as not to give the country a bad name.Colmhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04192365940736735322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13663066.post-22270647073176104712008-08-23T08:50:00.000+02:002008-08-23T08:50:00.000+02:00U like WRW's idea. Very useful.OSLOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06840475795135915167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13663066.post-19519516214740905752008-08-22T13:58:00.000+02:002008-08-22T13:58:00.000+02:00We had an incident up north near the Giant's Cause...We had an incident up north near the Giant's Causeway when 2 American soldiers who were on their holidays had to be rescued after attempting to scale a cliff.Chekovhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00567787385096905811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13663066.post-67871411813433441082008-08-22T10:22:00.000+02:002008-08-22T10:22:00.000+02:00Maybe they should put up signs, like the road sign...Maybe they should put up signs, like the road signs: 'In 2008, 5 people fell to their deaths from this cliff' (I'm making that statistic up, but you know what I mean). It might stop people from being so foolish. Lots of people DO fall off. I love it there, but it is exhiliratingly nerve wracking too.Women Rule Writerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07924947352624027079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13663066.post-74812870702414587992008-08-21T11:39:00.000+02:002008-08-21T11:39:00.000+02:00Cliffs of Moher are always way too busy, never bee...Cliffs of Moher are always way too busy, never been to Loop Head though. I love the cliffs by Dun Aengus on the Aran islands though the most. Like you I can't bear to look at people getting too close to the edge - it makes my stomach turn.conortjehttp://conortje.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13663066.post-36646671200023434952008-08-20T19:05:00.000+02:002008-08-20T19:05:00.000+02:00Jenny and I paid a fleeting visit to County Clare ...Jenny and I paid a fleeting visit to County Clare a few years back, but apart from the Cliffs of Moher didn't see much of the coastline. It would obviously repay another visit. I sometimes stand quite close to cliff edges and Jenny always gets very nervous and warns me not to go too far!Nickhttp://nickhereandnow.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
